I arrived back in New
York recently from a 16-day Safari in Western Tanzania. This is African wilderness!
I was hunting with my friend and professional
hunter, Wayne Grant.
This was our seventh Safari. On a separate 16-day Safari at the same camp
were my friends and clients
Ron & BJ Goodman. We were both very successful, collecting dark maned
male Lions, Leopard, 42 inch Sable, 30 inch Waterbuck,
Topi, Reedbuck, Masai Bushbuck, 6 Buffalo over 40 inches, Hyena, Roan, Western
Greater Kudu, Civets, 2 Serval Cats, and a Honey Badger. We stalked several
Elephants. Shot a charging Leopard and hunted Croc in the Matagrossa River.
We spike camped out many nights
with the glowing red grass fires burning in the distance. Great trip...
